Firefox 3.6.12 stürzt beim start ab,ebenso Thunderbird 3.1.6

    Hey
    Ich habe ein problem mit meinem firefox 3.6.12, eben so wie mit meinem thunderbird 3.1.6 (zweites sowohl unter windows 7 als auch unter ubuntu). In Windows erscheint beim starten bei beiden ein absturz-melder.
    Ich habe nach firefoxabstürzen ge googled und unter crash-stats.mozilla.com meinen fehlercode analysieren lassen. Der crash reprot gibt die folgende signatur zurück:
    XPCWrappedNative::CallMethod(XPCCallContext&, XPCWrappedNative::CallMode)

    Ich hab auch danach gegooglet, aber nichts brauchbares gefunden.
    Der crash report für den thunderbird fehler gibt keine analyse zurück.

    Unter ubuntu stürzt der thunderbird zwar nicht ab, jedoch ist weder meine inbox noch mein adressbuch zu finden. Mich verwirrt sehr, dass thunderbird anscheinend auf beiden betriebssystemen nicht funktioniert. ich kann mir einfach nicht erklären, woran das liegen könnte. Ist das überhaupt ein lokales problem?

    Du benutzt AVG? Falls auch mit Firewall: Dort mal die Erkennungsregel bei geschlossenem Firefox in AVG löschen und neu erkennen lassen.

    Könntest du die Log-Datei noch mit der Klammer Code ausstatten?
    Es gab mal mit Lenovo und Thinkpad Schwierigkeiten (keine Lust zu suchen) Mal die Treiber überprüfen.

    Erweiterungen auflisten: Schau mal in deinem Firefox unter Hilfe => Informationen zur Fehlerbehebung. Dort kopierst du den Inhalt des Feldes Erweiterungen in deinen nächsten Post.

    ich kann firefox nicht öffnen und dementsprechend auch nicht uner Hilfe nachschauen. Norton Toolbar klär ich ab.
    Der PC ist ein Lenovo Thinkpad. ichüberprüf die Treiber. Danke.

    Bin noch dran firefox neu zu installieren. mal was anderes. Ist es möglich, dass der Thunderbird nicht funktioniert, weil auch firefox nicht funktioniert? also anders gesagt, kann es sein, dass eine neuinstallation beide probleme löst? oder ist das unabhängig voneinander?

    1. Durchsuche deinen Computer mit Malwarebytes.
    Runterladen, installieren und zunächst ein UpDate der Erkennungsregeln machen. Mache einen Fullscan und lasse eine Log-Datei erstellen, poste den Inhalt hier mit der Klammer Code.

    2. Wird etwas gefunden, freunde dich mit dem Gedanken an, das System neu aufzusetzen. (alternativ ein Image nutzen)

    3. Sichere vorher deine persönlichen Daten.

    4. Ändere alle Passwörter und beobachte deine Konten: Online-Banking, Ebay, Paypal etc.etc.

    Also, hab Firefox komplet neu installiert und es stürzt noch immer ab. Nächster versuch wird Malwarebytes ausführen, dazu komm ich aber frühstens heuse abend.
