Copy & Paste funktioniert bei alter Software nicht mehr

Hallo Experten,
ab FF 44.0 funktioniert Copy & Paste nicht mehr mit einer Antiquität: Word 95 (6.0) - 16-Bit-Software, wenn ich mich nicht irre :oops:.

In FF markieren & kopieren klappt, aber im alten Word führt "Einfügen" zu einem "Pling", denn dort ist die Zwischenablage "leer". In neueren Programmen funktioniert natürlich alles weiterhin perfekt. Also füge ich jetzt als Umweg die Zwischenablage in (z.B.) Notepad++ ein, markiere alles, kopiere oder lösche es wieder in die Zwischenablage - und kann es jetzt wie gewohnt im ollen Word einfügen. (Die Addons AutoCopy 2 & Copy Plain Text 2 haben übrigens gar nichts verändert.)

Wir betreiben 3 PCs, identisch mit Windows 10, Office 2010 und FF Portable ausgestattet. Als auf dem ersten Rechner nach dem FF-Update von 43.0.4 zu 44.0 die Paste-Funktion ausfiel (siehe 1. Codefenster), habe ich FF auf den anderen beiden (siehe 2. Codefenster) nicht mehr upgedatet, um abzuwarten, ob die Funktion vielleicht in späteren Versionen wiederkehrt. Aber bis 44.0.2 inklusive hat sich noch nichts getan.

Ich weiß, dass das Problem mit aktuellerem Word gar nicht aufträte. Eine Anfrage ist das Phänomen aber doch wert - vielleicht sind noch andere FF-Freunde davon tangiert. Wir verwenden für einige Routinevorgänge aus alten Tagen immer noch Word 95 (6.0) mit perfekt und blitzschnell funktionierenden Makros, die nie umkodiert wurden - war ja nie erforderlich. Evtl. würde eine Winzigkeit genügen, um die alte Funktionalität wiederherzustellen.

Daher meine Fragen:
1. Ist das ein Bug oder eine gewollte Abschaltung?
2. Kehrt die Funktion irgendwann in der gewohnten Weise wieder?
3. Gibt es ein workaround (innerhalb von FF)?

Und es gibt keinen akzeptablen Grund, deswegen eine alte Firefox-Version -hier 43.0.4- zu betreiben.

Und Entschuldigung, dass ich bei meinen Recherchen vor dem Posten nicht selbst auf die beiden Threads gestoßen bin, in denen auch noch andere User Probleme beim Copy & Paste aus FF 44.0.2 melden, und das mit jüngerer Software als meiner: https://www.camp-firefox.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=116795 und https://www.camp-firefox.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=117021. Deren Experimente lassen darauf schließen, dass es sich tatsächlich um einen FF-Bug handelt, der mit FF 45 behoben sein wird. Also warte ich einfach ab.

Fox2Fox: keine Panik! Meine Systeme sind hard- und softwaremäßig absolut auf neuestem Stand und perfekt gepflegt. In die nur bei Bedarf kurz gestartete bequeme alte Word-Kamelle, ebenfalls portabel betrieben, ist noch nie etwas hineingekommen, was ich nicht selbst geschrieben habe. FF wird selbstverständlich automatisch upgedatet, aber mit einem kritischen Auge: Auch bei Mozilla gibt es nämlich Bugs, deretwegen es im Einzelfall nicht nur akzeptabel, sondern sogar ratsam sein kann, das Updaten mal zwei, drei Wochen auszusetzen.

Abstruse Idee! Aber gut, es geht ja um deinen Rechner; letztendlich um die Sicherheitslücken, falls ausgenutzt, dich betreffen.
