ClickOnce funktioniert nicht mehr

mein Problem:

nach den Updates auf firefox 3.6.6 und Microsoft .Net Assistant 1.2.1 funktioniert ClickOnce nicht mehr. MS.Net 3.5 SP1 war vorher installiert. Als Betriebssystem verwende ich Windows XP prof. SP3.

Der Fehler tritt offensichtlich häufiger auf.

Die Fehlermeldung lautet:

Wir sind bei Firefox Version 3.6.6. Das Addon wird gar nicht erst installiert.

Das aktuelle Addon ist zu finden auf https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/9449/

Für weitere Ideen bin ich weiterhin offen.

Eine mögliche (wenn auch umständliche) Lösung:

Microsoft .NET 3,5 SP1 vollständig deinstallieren!

Anschliessend Microsoft .NET 3,5 SP1 neu installieren!

Der Reparaturmodus bringt keine Änderung.

Bis dahin ist alles in Ordnung!

Werden jetzt Microsoft-Updates automatisch eingespielt, wird das MS-NET Framework gepatcht und beim nächsten Systemstart funktioniert die Clickonce-Funktion nicht mehr!

Ich suche eine saubere Lösung, bei der ich weder das MS.NET neu installieren noch die automatischen Updates abschalten oder manipulieren muss.

Frage an Brummelchen: Warum schickst du mir einen Link, der nicht funktioniert und ziehst dich dann daran hoch, dass er nicht funktioniert? Solche Schreibereien sind wenig hilfreich und lenken nur vom eigentlichen Problem ab. Dass dieser Link nicht funktioniert, wusste ich vorher.

Also nochmal ganz langsam - der NET Assistent ist Voraussetzung für ClickOnce - ohne NET kein ClickOnce.
Nur ClickOnce ist ebenfalls eine Erweiterung, die aber nicht kompatibel zu 3.6.6/3.6.7 ist.

Entweder ist deine Beschreibung in der Richtung zweideutig - oder das von dir erwähnte Add-on ist Schrott.
(bzw das Update davon).

Des Rätsels Lösung:

Hier handelt es sich um ein Eigentor von Microsoft!

Firefox 3.6.6. arbeitet mit dem MS.NET-Assistant 1.2.1 und MS.NETFramework 3.5 SP1(Okt. 2009) wunderbar zusammen. Clickonce funktioniert auch prima.

Jedenfalls funktioniert alles prima bis ein Update von Micorsoft für das .NET eingespielt wird. Danach funktioniert Clickonce nicht mehr.

Die Lösung ist also (wenn Clickonce benötigt wird):
- .NET vollständig deinstallieren
- automatische Updates ausschalten
- dotnetfx35sp1.exe installieren und das .NET-Framework so auf den alten Stand bringen

Für einfachere Lösungen bin ich dankbar!

Keine gute Idee. .NET-Updates (zuletzt am 21. Juni) enthalten häufig auch Sicherheitspatches, abgesehen davon daß für eine zuverlässige Funktion der davon abhängigen Programme die Installation der letzten Version mit Stabilitätsverbesserungen vorausgesetzt wird. Anderenfalls wird daraus ein Eigentor des Benutzers.

Der bessere Weg wäre, den Entwickler von ClickOnce auf das Nichtfunktionieren aufmerksam zu machen. Da dieser seit 2008 aber nichts mehr daran gemacht hat, sehe ich da eher schwarz. Eine weitere Erweiterung für deine Zwecke ist vermutlich FFClickOnce. Auch diese ist mit Firefox 3.6.* nicht lauffähig und wird wohl ebenfalls nicht weiterentwickelt. Du könntest versuchen eine der beiden an Firefox 3.6.6 anzupassen.

Boersenfeger - so wie ich das verstanden habe und worum es sich auch in den Differenzen
wohl handelte: mit dem NET-Assi soll ClickOnce auch ohne Dritt-Erweiterungen funktionieren
- und ersteres geht wohl nur ab Firefox 3.5 und zweiteres nur bis 3.0!?
(entgegen der Webangabe 2.0)

Das geht auch nur unter XP (gar kein NET) und Vista (dotNET v2). Bei Win7
fällt diese option komplett raus, weil dort schon 3.5 von Anfang an drin ist
und Systemfunktionen erfüllt.

Updates - siehe Cosmo. Das letzte kam im Mai oder Juni, damit kam auch dotNET v4, evtl das?

Wurde ausprobiert, ob die Erweiterung 1.2.0 noch funktional ist?
Nicht jedes Update ist nützlich
Sowas würde ich eher als Lösung akzeptieren als eine Systemkomponente
gravierend zur Sicherheitslücke degradieren.
(wobei - unter XP nutze ich gar kein dotNET)

Egal... Der TO will die Erweiterung nehmen und der .NET- ASI hat ja auf verschiedenen System auch seine Macken... :roll:

Ja, hab ich. Hat aber nicht geholfen. Kann auch nicht helfen, da die Anwendung um die es geht, auf .NET 3.5 SP1 aufsetzt.

Das Problem ist auch nicht das .NET, sondern die Firefox-Erweiterung von Microsoft, der "Microsoft .Net Assistant 1.2.1" . Dieser funktioniert seit den letzten Patches für .NET nicht mehr.

Mit dem IE gibt es natürlich keine Probleme.
