Ganz herzlichen Dank für den Hinweis. Ich habe den Treiber erneuert, ich habe auch den Firefox im abgesicherten Modus gestartet - alles ohne Erfolg, leider. Die Maustasten funktionieren nicht (zum Glück funktionieren immerhin die allerwichtigsten).

Die neueste Version von Logitech SetPoint hat etwas gebracht - nicht ganz alles - aber immerhin.
Ganz herzlichen Dank für diesen Hinweis!
Nun nähme mich bloss noch dies wunder: was alles lässt sich denn bei Logitech oder Kaspersky "in die Tonne treten"? Ich bin überzeugt, es gibt vieles, und darunter werden auch solche Haken sein, die die Maus unbeweglich machen. Wenn ich allerdings mit Löschen beginne, fürchte ich, dass auch Wichtiges darunter sein wird, von dem man besser die Finger lässt!

Zur Logitech-Software....
Am Überzeugendsten ist es, wenn du diese einfach mal deinstallierst, deinen Computer neu startest und testest. Unter Garantie funktioniert sowohl deine Maus als auch die Tastatur noch.
Der Nebeneffekt: Du sparst dir ein Programm! Zusätzlich wird ein Programm weniger beim Systemstart mit gestartet und verwendet auch nicht den Speicher...
Die Installationsdatei hast du ja abgespeichert. Wenn du nicht überzeugt bist, kannst du sie wieder installieren.

Nicht nur für diese Software gilt: Sie muss aktuell gehalten werden!

Zu Kaspersky respektive deren Erweiterungen: Letztere bringen keinen zusätzlichen Sicherheitsgewinn. Im Gegenteil, oftmals werden damit Probleme gemeldet. Suche hier im Forum mal danach... Stichwörter: https-Scanning und Browserschutz
Ganz allgemein: Sicherheit kann man nicht kaufen... lies bei Interesse mal mein Sicherheitskonzept, das in meiner Signatur verlinkt ist.
