MediaPlayerConnectivity Probleme

    Hallo

    Da ich Probleme bei der Anzeige von DivX-Videos hatte, habe ich oben genannte Erweiterung ausprobiert und bin von den features fasziniert. Leider haben sich jetzt ein paar andere Probleme aufgetan:

    1. Die Videos werden jetzt immer in einem extra Player geöffnet. Was muss ich einstellen um sie wieder in die Seite eingebettet zu kriegen? Geht das auch mit/für Media Player Classic und Video Lan Client?

    Das ist allerdings nur ein Schönheitsproblem mit dem ich leben könnte, schon eher nervig ist

    2. Manche Videos kann ich überhaupt nicht ansehen. Bsp.: http://www.zippyvideos.com/7710936261700136/cavespider/
    VLC öffnet sich, macht dann aber nichts, MPC macht gar nichts und WMP behauptet es wurde ein unbekannter Fehler festgestellt. Öffne ich den link aber in Opera wird das Video ganz normal im, in der Seite eingebetteten, WMP wiedergegeben.

    Wäre toll, wenn mir jemand helfen könnte.

    Okay, hab ich gemacht. Bringt aber leider auch nichts :(
    Einziger Unterschied: Wenn ich bei MediaPlayerConnectivity den WMP für das Video einstelle, sehe ich beim Laden der Seite kurz den eingebetetten WMP bevor das typische MediaPlayerConnectivity-Fenster erscheint. Wenn ich dann aber auf Play klicke, geht der WMP wieder extra auf und die bringt die Fehlermeldung

    Ich habe die Erweiterung MediaPlayerConnectivity nicht, und das oben verlinkte Video wird bei mir ganz normal im WMP abgespielt (in der Seite eingebettet).

    Was steht bei Dir unter about:plugins? Kopiere mal den Inhalt hierher.

    Ich weiss nicht, ob die Erweiterung MediaPlayerConnectivity dieses Plugin mitgebracht hat, wenn nicht, würde ich es sofort deinstallieren. (Sonst kannst Du sicherheitstechnisch gesehen auch gleich den IE benutzen).

    Wenn dieses Plugin bei Dir fehlt, könnte das die im Eingangsthread erwähnten DivX-Probleme erklären.

    Ansonsten ist meine Liste identisch mit Deiner (selbstverständlich ohne das ActiveX-Plugin).

    Deshalb denke ich (da das oben erwähnte Video ja bei mir keine Probleme macht), dass es bei Dir entweder am ActiveX-Plugin oder an der Erweiterung liegt.

    Funktioniert es, wenn Du das ActiveX-Plugin und/oder die Erweiterung deaktiviert oder deinstalliert hast?

    Das ActiveX-Plugin hab ich selber heute vormittag installiert, weil ich dachte es könnte eventuell damit zusammenhängen. UNd bevor mir jemand dann rät das zu probieren und mir eventuell noch einige Tipps dazu gibt, dachte ich mal ich lass es noch ne Zeit lang drauf. Aber da dem wohl nicht so ist, hab ichs jetzt wieder gelöscht.

    Also nachdem ich die Erweiterung deaktiviert habe, ging das Video ganz normal (eingebettet) und als ichs dann wieder aktiviert habe, gings auch noch :) Hab jetzt die Option gefunden, die ich vorher mit einer anderen verwechselt und somit wohl übersehen habe, mit der ich das in der Erweiterung an- und ausschalten kann.
    Tut mir leid wegen der Umstände, auf das bisschen rumprobieren mit Aktivieren und Deaktivieren der Erweiterung hätt ich auch kommen können, wenn ich schon irgendwelche Plugins installiere.
