Meine Firefox-Version: 3.0.8
Windows XP SP 2
Apache web Server

Proxy in Verwendung?
-
If a proxy is there i think it cannot work in Safari.
-
It's possible to independently configure proxy settings for each browser, even for different Firefox profiles p.e.
You know best if you're using a proxy on your local system. If not, try the standard diagnostic. -
I have deinstalled firefox and the reinstall it from mozilla site. But no effect!
-
Usually this doesn't affect your Firefox profile, which is often the root for varying problems.
Did you make a clean reinstall? Please grant me a comment:
If you prefer to talk English it would be better to transfer your request to mozillazine.org. There you find the English speaking Mozilla support community. Around here German is the common language and many participants hardly understand a strict English conversation. So this significantly degrades the usefulness of this thread for the common public. -
Hi
Thank-You for your support!
I don't understand the meaning of "clean mode".
I don't now, where i can modify my profile!
I added temporaly "local" at 127.0.0.1 to my host file and it works. I can not understand why Firefox (or IEE) don't recognise localhost! Safari works with localhost very well. I don't now where i have to modify the browser settings!
May be the raison will appear same time in the future
