Aber Vorsicht, die von Dir angegebene id muss so bleiben, das ist die id von Firefox.

Die richtige id suchen, ist meisten weiter oben und dann
ganz einfach ohne Klammern: also die { } weglassen,
also so:
<em:id>herb@addon.com</em:id>

oder was dir sonst besser gefällt, das funktioniert auch und ist jetzt die bevorzugte Methode.

Ja du kannst Deine Erweiterung selber signieren lassen.
Melde dich dazu bei Amo an:
https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/users/register

anschließend kannst Du Deine Erweiterung signieren lassen.
Denk daran, in der install.rdf muss eine andere id als im Original sein,
sonst geht es nicht.

Frage, willst Du die Extraleiste zusätzlich zur Lesezeichen-Symbolleiste verwenden oder anstelle?
Laut Deinem Bild, willst Du die Lesezeichen-Symbolleiste nicht verwenden.

Lesezeichen-Symbolleiste einblenden dann klicke auf Menübutton - Anpassen
Nun verschiebe von der Lesezeichen-Symbolleiste das Teil wo steht Lesezeichen - Symbole in die Extraleiste.
Anpassen schließen und Lesezeichen-Symbolleiste wieder ausblenden.

Wird diese neue Schnittstelle die aktuelle ganz ersetzen, und wenn ja,
kann man schon sagen bis wann das dann sein wird?
Das heißt dann wohl, dass alle aktuellen Erweiterungen entweder umgeschrieben werden müssen
oder vergiss es.

Ich wiederum habe camel-joe eine angepasste Version gesendet, die am Anfang
anscheinend nicht richtig funktionierte. Nun tut sie das laut camel-joe doch.
Leider wurde das Signieren der Erweiterung von Amo abgelehnt.
Also wird camel-joe früher oder später meinen zweiten Vorschlag, Nightly Tester Tools
Erweiterung, verwenden müssen. Das war mehr oder weniger die ganze PN.
Sollten mehr Details gewünscht werden stelle ich gerne die gesamte Korrespondenz
hier ein.
