Funktionelle Änderungen am Firefox durch Skripte

Als Ersatz für einige Erweiterungen bzw. Funktionen daraus kann man auch diverse Skripte benutzen.

( damit sind nicht optische Änderungen am Firefox gemeint)

Diese werden mit einer userChrome.css Datei erstellt.

Skripte werden als .uc.js Datei im Unterordner chrome gespeichert.

Hinweise:

Ab Firefox Version 139 muss der neue Eintrag in about:config:

security.allow_unsafe_dangerous_privileged_evil_eval

auf true umgestellt werden, damit manche Skripte wieder funktionieren.

Dann erstellst du mit einem Editor (Die meisten nutzen hier im Forum wohl Notepad ++)

eine uc.js-Datei mit dem Inhalt von dieser Seite:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Endor8/userChrome.js/master/openbookmodoki/OpenBookModoki.uc.js

und speicherst sie in dem mit den vorherigen Schritten erstellten Ordner "chrome" in deinem Profilordner.

Dann startest du Firefox neu und kannst danach die Lesezeichen so wieder abspeichern, wie du es von der Erweiterung her gewohnt bist.

Falls noch etwas unklar ist, einfach nachfragen!

Du benötigst kein Reinigungs- und/oder Tuningprogramm, du brauchst unter Windows 10 kein separates Antivirenprogramm und du lädst Software nur von den Webseiten der Hersteller, nie nicht von Downloadportalen wie etwa CHIP, Computer-Bild und Konsorten.
