Die Frage ist mir neulich schon begegnet, im englischen heisst das "Launcher Process"

Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe, werden DLL mit aktivem Laucher (siehe prefs) blockiert. In der aktuellen Beta als auch Nightly gibt es diese Einstellung nicht, sie ist dennoch vorhanden, weil wohl in einer früheren Ausgabe mal aktiv gewesen. Ich habe es erst mal zurückgesetzt was einem Löschen gleich kommt. Die Funktion ist trotzdem aktiv, also muss man es explizit abstellen (boolean/false).

Was ich dir zu Shutup schrieb, darfst du gerne als bare Münze nehmen, eine der Einstellungen unter empfohlen schädigt das Netzwerk, kann ich dir aus erster Hand sagen. Ich kann dir nur nicht sagen, welche, weil jenes System (nicht produktiv) einen anderen Schaden aufwies und neu aufgesetzt wurde. Ich würde sogar so weit gehen, dass derartige Tools noch erheblich nachhaltiger wirken, weil manche ihr Netzwerk gar nicht mehr vernünftig hinbekommen, nicht mal mehr mit dem unsicheren SMB v1, dass zum Teil noch für ältere NAS-Systeme aktiviert werden muss. Man ist sich nicht mal sicher, welche Rolle eine Fritzbox mit Firmware 7.x spielt, da war neulich was mit der Final gegenüber der Laborausgabe. (ich habe keine Fbox)

Also hast du es bewusst geändert? Dann war das eine falsche Entscheidung, weil du die Konsequenzen falsch bewertet hast. Wenn du meinst, du wärest damit anonymer - auch falsch bewertet.

uBlock hat nicht umsonst den netlogger und den Picker als Werkzeuge. Man muss es nur wissen, dass es das gibt und wie man es dann später auch benutzt.

Firefox hat das lange Zeit ignoriert, es ist defakto aber eine Windows-Funktion, die da ausgelöst wird, weil andere Programme das auch so handhaben.

Das ist nicht möglich, ohne die Datei selbst zu verändern. Folgen: Hash falsch und mehr. Bei Programmen werden einige sogar ihren Start verweigern, weil eben Hash falsch. Bei Daten ohne Eigenschaften schlichtweg gar nicht machbar. Wird dir auch nie ein Programmierer ermöglich, weil vollkommen "Banane" die Idee. Sind schon wieder Ferien?

Du musst per Inspector das Element nebst <event> und das Script dazu finden und ähnlich eintragen. Das Ziel variiert, könnte sich als zeitlich wieder verändern, dann musst du nachbessern.

Die installs.ini ist vollkommen uninteressant - wichtig ist das, was in der profiles.ini steht. Letztere steht hier auf read-only und hidden und wird nur bei Bedarf "zugelassen", eine Kopie steht bei nicht erwünschten änderungen parat. Bislang hat sich Firefox dem gefügt.

Deine installs.ini sagt mir, dass du 4 verschiedene Firefox-Programmordner nutzt. Dass Firefox sich trotz -p bzw -profile mal anders verhält, wurde doch in diesem Forum ausgiebig genug besprochen, vor allem bei externen Aufrufen. Vielleicht solltest du das automatische Update gegen ein manuelles tauschen - sprich: ZIP herunterladen und Firefox selbst erneuern.

Dass gewisse Kombinationen bei mehreren Installation und portablen Firefox nicht funktioniert, ist also bekannt, es geht nur genau ein Standard-Firefox oder genau eine Portable, die sich mehrfach ansprechen lässt. Alles andere ist entweder mit -no-remote nicht mehr erreichbar oder hinterlässt Murks in den besagten ini.

Dann fragt bitte geldhügel, was er/sie eingestellt hat, bei ihm/ihr funktioniert das offenbar. Aber eine Diskussion über die offizielle Erklärung zu dieser Option ist bei mir an der falschen Person. Natürlich kann es mehr als eine Zeile sein, dazu müsste man aber eben das Protokoll komplett einsehen. Ich würe aber auch sagen, dass Conduit nur seine eigenen Daten dort ablegt, Fierfox-kritische Einstellungen sind Erweiterungen ja verwehrt, oder es läuft die Adware dazu noch fleissig mit.

CSS - gefunden, sieht dennoch "falsch aus", mal schauen, ob es eine Auswahl gibt, wo das nicht passiert, denn in der Vorschau ist das alles proper, nur nach Absenden nicht mehr.
