Das Wichtigste vorab: es funktioniert wieder, die Passwörter bleiben beim Schließen von Firefox erhalten!
1. Die letzte Frage war etwas dümmlich, das war mir dann selber aufgefallen. AdwCleaner hat alles gelöscht und findet jetzt nichts mehr.

Seit 2 Tagen gehen sämtliche gespeichertern Passwörter (Zugangsdaten) verloren, wenn ich Firefox schließe. Zuvor kann ich sie unter den gespeicherten Zugangsdaten noch sehen (und sie werden beim Aufruf der Seite auch korrekt eingestellt); schließe ich Firefox, sind die Passwörter weg (auch wenn ich Firefox sofort wieder öffne). Das Änderungsdatum von Datei key3.db zeigt anschließend genau den Zeitpunkt, an dem ich Firefox geschlossen habe.
Bis vor 2 Tagen lief alles problemlos. Kurz zuvor hatte ich 2 Plugins aktualisiert: Adeobe Flash Player auf Version 23.0.0.205 und Java Runtime Environment auf Vers. 8.0.111; kann es hier einen Zusammenhang geben?
Ich verwende Firefox 49.0.2 unter Windows 10.
