Ich nutze ein dunkles Systemtheme
also die vorhandene userContent.css und auch die userChrome.css sicherheitshalber auskommentiert und eine neue userContent.css angelegt.

Auch wenn eset vielleicht nicht die Ursache ist - deinstalliere es trotzdem (am besten von allen Rechnern).
Der Windows-Defender übernimmt dann sofort - du bist nicht ohne Virenschutz!

Ich habe auch Antivirus (eset) gestoppt, geht trotzdem nicht.
Deinstalliere(!) diese unnötige Systembremse rückstandsfrei und teste dann erneut.
Unter Win10 (und höher) brauchst du keine externe AV-Lösung. Der Windows-Defender kann das (mindestens) genau so gut und ist wesentlich besser ins System integriert.
Es wäre nicht das erste Mal, daß ein übereifriges Anti-Virus so einen Blödsinn auslöst...
