Ich hatte auch diese MS-Antispy-Software getestet. Hat mir dann registry-Einträge von Spybot Search&Destroy ( mit denen Spybot S&D ja meinen Rechner schützen will ) zum löschen angeboten und als übel bezeichnet.
Etwas Recherche ergab, dass MS ein vorhandenes Programm einer aufgekauften Firma (fast) unverändert als MS-Betaversion verteilt. Das Programm war vorher schon dafür bekannt sehr viele falsche Warnmeldungen zu erzeugen.
Mein Fazit : In derzeitigem Zustand untauglich .
Sollte MS nachbessern, dann ist immer noch die Frage ob man hier nicht den Bock zum Gärtner macht.
Ich bleibe erst mal bei den bewährten tools : Spybot S&D ( mit resident teatimer ), Ad-Aware und HijackThis.

Starte den Firefox mal im sicheren Modus ( dann sind alle extensions deaktiviert ).

schon mal versucht die Erweiterungen alle ( inkl. roboform ) zu deaktivieren und einzeln nacheinander wieder zuzulassen ?

Stimmt, die gehen nur mit about:cache
Allerdings hat es noch nie so richtig geklappt, irgendwas verstecken zu wollen, das man aber dem user im Browser anzeigen will.
Wenn zB Bilder wirklich "gut" sind wird sich schnell jemand finden, der weiss wie das geht und werden die auf anderem Weg verteilt.
