bedeutet das, das ich verschiedenen versionen gleichzeitig auf verschiedenen partitionen problemlos installieren und nutzen kann, die auf das gleiche profil zurückgreifen ?
z.B.
C:\ > profil
D:\ > FF 1.0
E:\ > FF 1.0.1.
gleiche sprachversion vorausgesetzt.

du hast recht, aber ich weiss nicht so recht, was der nutzen ist, den schlüssel zu löschen, wenn man das programm gleichzeitig behält...
kriegen wir auch mal einen link zu deiner problemseite, dann kónnen wir checken 
ich gratluere, aber vor dem löschen des registerschlüssels wird ausdrücklich gewarnt:

ich will hier niemand einen vorwurf machen, unsere admins und mods machen prima arbeit, wirklich, aber ich versetzte mich in die lage der vielen neumitglieder seit 1.0.1., die erstmal suchen. und wo sucht ein neuer: ganz oben. und da steht nur überholtes und nichts aktuelles!
wir bitten neumitglieder, erst zu suchen, bevor sie fragen, wir sollten es ihnen aber auch nicht zu schwer machen. nach dem desaster mit 1.0.1-update gehört da ein beitrag hin, damit die neuen sich zurechtfinden.

Steps for upgrading from Firefox 1.0 to Firefox 1.0.1
Automatic Update (Windows only)
Windows users1. Before beginning the update, be sure to complete any work you're doing in Firefox 1.0 and close any extra tabs or windows you may have open.
2. If you see a small red icon update icon on the right end of your menubar, click that. If you don't see the icon, then follow these steps:
1. Go to the Tools menu on the menubar and select the Options... menu item.
2. In the Options window, select the Advanced icon.
3. Scroll down to the Software Update section and press the Check Now button.
3. You should see a Critical Updates (1) item and a checkbox with the label Firefox 1.0.1(en-US) Software Update. If you do not see this, skip to the Manual Installation steps below.
4. Press the Install Now button.
5. Wait for the installing updates progress meter to finish
6. Follow the instructions in the Firefox setup wizard.

Windows fragt gelegentlich, ob übrig gebliebene Bestände des Programmverzeichnisses vollständig gelöscht werden sollen. Diese Frage mit "NEIN" beantworten, denn da befinden sich Deine Plugins und Searchplugins
Ich will ja niemanden mit Arbeit vollschmeissen, wir haben alle genug um die Ohren, aber wäre nicht mal ein Hausputz bei den Pinnwänden angebracht, vor allem bei
"Meldungen und Ankündigungen" und
"Allgemein"?
Das Forum kriegt immer mehr neue Mitglieder seit 1.0.1 (wen wundert's, *lol*)
aber was da noch so alles an der Pinwand hängt :roll: ...
