Es bringt mich noch zum Wahnsinn... ich habe eine Webapplikation in der Arbeit wo ich den Shortcut "Strg"+"Shift"+"E" benötige aber im Firefox ist dieser Shortcut bereits vergeben.
Wie kann ich den Shortcut abschalten? Sonst muss ich einen alternativ Browser verwenden was ich nicht will...

ich hab's hinbekommen.
Es war KEINE Extension gelistet im Firefox!!!
Aber es war ein Ordner einer Java Plug-In Extension der nicht gelöscht werden konnte.
Auch als Admin konnte ich den Folder nicht löschen weil ständig access denied etc. gemeldet wurde.
Der Folder war anscheinend gelockt.
Nun habe ich mit "MoveonBoot" der GiPo@FileUtilities den Folder endlich löschen können... und siehe da... endlich startet der Firefox ohne Fehlermeldung

ich habe schon Alles versucht um 4x die Fehlermeldung mit der Chrome Registrierung los zu werden (Profil gelöscht etc.) leider bekomm ich das nicht hin...

Ich weis, es ist wahrscheinlich eine Sicherheitsmaßnahme aber ich will doch die ein-oder-andere Datei direkt nach dem Download öffnen.

leider startet mein Firefox Browser (v1.5.0.9) das installierte Java Plugin (1_4_2_11, wird für spezielle Aufgaben benötigt) nicht wenn ich auf Webseiten mit Java Applets zugreife.
Ich sehe auch keinen Button "Plugin installieren" o.ä.
Hatte auch schon andere Java Versionen getestet... leider ohne Erfolg.
Der IE6 startet Java und die Applets ohne Murren...
Ich habe den lieben Firefox auf mehreren Rechnern installiert und würde gerne die Lesezeiche untereinander synchronisiere - also nicht kopiere, verschieben etc- da ich auf allen Rechnern verschiedene Lesezeichen habe aber alle benötige.
Gibt es dafür ein Tool oder eine Funktion?

Normalerweise geht immer nur ein Unterordner.

ich verwende das Programm 'Super flexible File synchronizer' um Dateien bzw. Ordner zwischen Notebook und Desktop PC zu synchronisieren.
Im Falle der Firefox Bookmarks synchronisiere ich bisher die Datei:
C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Username\Anwendungsdaten\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\7pxx6ayq.default\bookmarks.html
Es ist nur ein Profil angelegt.
Leider unterscheiden sich beide Browser immer noch an den Lesezeichen!?

Leider taucht diese ganz unten im Firefox Fenster auf.
Ich möchte diese wie beim IE nach oben über die Tabbed Browser Leiste schieben, bekomme das aber leider nicht hin.
Sind die Symbolleisten gesperrt?

gibt es eine Möglichkeit Tabs mit einem Doppelklick auf das Toucpad meines Laptops zu schliessen?
Ich habe dasselbe Problem.
Kann die Symbolleisten nicht verschieben.
Im 'Anpassen' Kontext finde ich keine Einstellung um dies zu ermöglichen.
Z.B. verwende ich die Roboform Toolbar, die jedoch unten im Browserfenster erscheint, anstatt wie beim IE oben in den Symbolleisten.
Ich möchte diese Toolbar nach oben schieben, geht aber leider nicht.
Verwende Firefox 1.0.
Das müsste doch irgendwie möglich sein oder?

Wie kann ich die Einstellungen zu CanonicalURL ändern?
Gibt es im Firefox eine Funktion die eine in der Adressliste eingegebene Domain automatisch mit dem NIC Kürzel vervollständigt?
Z.B. wenn ich eingebe 'golem', dass dann automatisch der Browser 'http://www.golem.de' draus macht.
So wie ich das sehe, schaut der Browser bei dieser EIngabe erst bei Google nach, ob er etwas Brauchbares finden kann und öffnet dann die Golem Seite.
Geht es auch ohne Umweg über Google.
