    Hallo Leute,
    ich bin vor kurzem vom XP auf Ubuntu umgestiegen.
    Eigentlich läuft alles recht zufriedenstellend, nur ein Problem bekomm ich nicht in den Griff:
    Manchmal (nicht immer), wenn ich Firefox mit dem - rechts oben minimiere, stürzt das ganze System ab und zeigt mir folgenden Bildschirm:

    Ich bin neulich von XP auf Ubuntu umgestiegen.
    Bei einer kleinen Sache könnt ihr mir vielleicht helfen:
    Situation: Doppelklick auf ein Wort in einer URL in der Firefox-Adressbar.
    z.B. bei der Adresse http://www.firefox-browser.de/forum/posting.php, doppelklicken auf das Wort "forum",
    Unter Windows wird dann nur dieses Wort markiert, unter Linux die ganze Adresse.
    Wie schaffe ich es, dass per Klick nur ein Wort markiert wird?

    Die ICQ-Verbindung bricht aus nicht erkennbaren Gründen dauernd ab und muss manuell wieder auf Online gesetzt werden. Das hält dann aber nur ein paar Stunden.
    Ich werde dann beizeiten mal Pidgin testen...

    Moin Leute.
    Kleines Problemchen: Wenn ich Firefox starte, werden die Tabs der letzten Sitzung wiederhergestellt. Manche dieser Tabs hören dann nicht auf zu laden, d.h. der Throbber im Tab dreht sich nen Wolf, während die Seite augenscheinlich schon lange fertig ist.
    Gibt´s da ein Gegengift? (Firefox-Info siehe Signatur)

    Miranda sieht wirklich sehr sympathisch aus. Hatte ich auch schon ne Zeit lang im Auge, nur hat halt der Anlass gefehlt, weil ich an Trillian nie was zu meckern hatte, aber momentan bin ich recht froh über den Wechsel.

    Die deutsche Community sieht ja auch recht engagiert aus und, wie PIGSgrame richtig sagte, als Firefox-Fan freue ich mich auf ein Open Source-Programm mit Erweiterungs- und Individualisierungsmöglichkeiten.

    Bin schon gespannt drauf, die Plugins zu erkunden.
    Nur leider ist die Addons-Seite bzw. fast die ganze Miranda-Seite zur Zeit down. :(

    Moin Leute.
    Ich brauch mal wieder eure Hilfe:
    Keiner meiner ICQ-Kontakte sieht, dass ich online bin, ich werde als offline angezeigt. Ich benutze Trillian 2 und von den Einstellungen her müsste eigentlich alles stimmen, also ich bin nicht invisible oder sowas.
    Früher hats auch immer funktioniert, das Problem trat einfach auf, ohne dass ich was in den Einstellungen verändert hätte.
    Weiss jemand Rat?
